   Animation, VFX, gaming and comics (with AR/VR, called AVGC-XR) make cartoons, film effects, mobile games and videos. The government expects about 20 lakh jobs over ten years in this area.

   You can start after Class 10 or 12, from any stream. What gets you hired is a strong portfolio or showreel, more than the certificate.

   You can learn the basics today with free software like Blender, Godot and DaVinci Resolve.

   Most creators and freshers earn little at first. Real-money games are banned, and many paid courses and "monetisation services" are traps.

   NID (animation film design) through its DAT test, IITs through UCEED (B.Des) and CEED (M.Des in animation at IIT Bombay), and SRFTI Kolkata (MFA with animation cinema). All accept any stream; NID and UCEED have age limits.
