After Class 12: every option

What you need to know

1. 1
After Class 12 there are many more roads than "doctor or engineer". You can study a degree, a professional course, a skill, start a government job, or take a planned drop year.
2. 2
Your Class 12 subjects decide some doors (PCB for medicine, PCM for engineering), but many big exams accept any stream: CUET, CLAT, design, hotel management, NDA (Army wing) and most government jobs.
3. 3
Each branch below links to a detailed Vaidaani roadmap for that path.
4. 4
Money should not stop you: scholarships, free government courses and paid apprenticeships exist at every step.

What you need to know

1. 1
NEET has no attempt limit (minimum age 17). JEE Main allows 3 consecutive years from Class 12; JEE Advanced only 2 attempts in consecutive years.
2. 2
A drop year can work if your score was close and you know what went wrong. If it was far off, compare the other routes in this map first.
3. 3
Keep a backup: many students join a B.Sc or diploma and still sit NEET or JEE, leaving only once a seat is confirmed.
